It is with heavy hearts that we announce the closing of Wood Kettle Brewing on December 28th. We are not closing by choice. Forces and constraints beyond our control have led us to this emotional and unfortunate decision.
This journey began with dreams of establishing a gathering place where people could connect through great beer, food, and conversation. Our goal was to create a place “Where Good Friends Meet Great Beer.” Although faced with life-altering events and unexpected obstacles, we like to think that we did just that.
We know that Wood Kettle would not have been possible without the dedication and hard work of our cherished employees, who brought their passion and commitment to work every day. We are grateful for each and every one of you.
We were fortunate to have the support of talented local musicians through weekend performances and weekly open mic nights. We will always be thankful for the joy and happiness you brought to our brewery.
To our loyal customers, thank you for your unwavering support, your countless visits, and for choosing to spend your time with us over the past seven years. You have been the heart of Wood Kettle, bringing life and laughter through our door day after day. We appreciate you beyond measure.
Over the next couple of weeks, we hope that you will stop by Wood Kettle to enjoy a pint and to say farewell. Mug Club members, please stop in to pick up your mugs by December 28th. Please join us on Friday, December 27th and Saturday, December 28th as we welcome Appalachian singer, songwriter Justin Mychals to Wood Kettle to “play us out.” He will perform both days from 6:00 to 9:00.
Since our opening in 2017, we have been proud to call our corner of Latta and Manitou home. It has been a joy and a privilege to serve this amazing community and we can’t thank you enough for all of the memories made and the good times shared together. We are full of gratitude and sadness as we close this chapter of our lives. We hope you remember us fondly.
